Oversees and ensures overall cleanliness and product quality of the
hotel in accordance with hotel, corporate and Department of Health
standards. Plans, distributes, delegates, directs and inspects daily,
weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual work assignments. Monitors guest
requests and complaints, resolving issues and coordinating efforts with
other departments. Oversees accurate inventory, laundry operations and
carpet and floor maintenance programs. Interviews, trains, supervises,
counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
Must have a 2 year Associates degree required. Minimum of 5 to 7 years
senior housekeeping management experience managing a property at least
2500+ unit/rooms or more. Previous management experience in a union
environment required. Bi-lingual English/Spanish language communication
skills in order to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests,
owners and team members, and fully comprehend job assignments. Ability
to multi-task responsibilities and prioritize duties to meet deadlines
and demands. Knowledge of proper use of all cleaners and cleaning
equipment. Ability to lead, direct and inspire team members to reach
goals and objectives of department and Hilton Grand Vacations standards.
Proficiency in MS Office computer programs required.
